The BD Insyte™ Autoguard™ Winged IV Catheter is designed for enhanced patient safety and efficient vascular access, especially in patients with fragile or compromised veins such as neonates or the chronically ill. The winged design and notched needle help provide rapid visualization of blood return, while the push-button safety mechanism retracts the needle after insertion to reduce needlestick injuries.

Constructed from BD’s proprietary Vialon™ biomaterial, this catheter exhibits improved kink resistance and extended indwelling time, helping to reduce the risks of phlebitis and infiltration by up to 50%.
